Encounters with Jesus #1: “The Man Born Blind”

This is the first installment in our new preaching series on Sunday mornings called Encounters with Jesus. If you have encountered Jesus, you didn’t walk away the same. What we see in John 9 is that a man born blind was a part of God’s bigger plan and it reminds us that even though we move through circumstances and pains that see disconnected from God’s bigger picture, they are not. Sometimes we encounter a Jesus of our own making, or the Jesus that culture has created. When we encounter the true Son of God, we are forever changed.
